Hagar Sand
Hagar’s art asks questions about the relationship of the body to an ‘environment’ in a physical and metaphorical sense. Her interest lies in exploring dichotomies and contradictions. She uses plexiglass as the holding structure of her pieces, and her process involves manipulating the surface with painting, tracing, melting, scratching and adhering found objects to it.
